Blackland End of an Era

Wondering how the ERA compares (efficiency) to either the Alpha Outlaw (standard plate) and the Edwin Jagger (stainless steel) 3one6?

Hi, Rob. For me, the 3one6 was more efficient than the ERA on max level 5 in both SB and OC.

David is correct. I own the Outlaw and 3one6. I find both of a similar level of efficiency.

I liked the look of the Era but I’ve never got on with a Blackland razor. This doesn’t stop me waiting to try every razor they release. They make beautiful razor.

Certainly open to bringing the Era back if we can find a way to do so that's consistent with the vision we have for it. We won't machine the design.

That would be inconsistent with the original vision of the Era in price, functionality (can’t have all those base plates), and spirit. We may take inspiration from the Era, like we have with the Osprey’s blade clamping, and we may make something similar to the Era. But we won’t machine the Era itself.

Fair enough. Just thought, it's a great entry razor to your brand. Really great design, shame if that would vanish.
