Blackland Blackbird

Just seen that Slickboys seem to stock Blackland razors again. I wonder if they might not be direct sales only now?
I got a Blackbird Ti for my 40th in December and really like it. Very precise

Which plate?
I don't use mine very often, but I do find it's riding the cap on flatter areas and the bar on rounder areas helps loads (with all blade forward razors that allow for it, really), and making sure the soap is really glidey helps, too.
I've also experimented with shimms between the top cap and the blade for more aggressive razors, and it did helped smooth things out, although I have yet to try it with a Blackbird.

I find riding the cap works best.
Give it another go. It's the best razor I have ever used.

Got a Blackbird about a month ago and use it daily. Really have no desire to buy anything else unless Blackland comes out with another brass DE razor ;-)

I have not, by the time it came out I'd stopped buying razors.

Maybe you could borrow the Blackbird Lite for a test drive, before, you might change your mind getting one into your den.
