Taking inspiration from lather catcher razors of the early 1900s, Batch 004 reimagines the GEM razor concept. This time, carved from a single piece of stainless steel. In a first for any safety razor, Batch 004 has no screws, no parts, no assembly. It’s entirely machined from one stainless billet. If you’re new to the Workshop, this is where we experiment with new materials, finishes, and designs in limited production quantities. With Batch 004, we sought to explore how far we could push a single piece of metal into something beautiful and purposeful.
