Blackbird blade choice

What is your best blade to use in a blackland blackbird?
I'm not looking for blade longevity just sharp and smooth, not a lot to ask lol
I've got
Personna blues
Gillette rubies
7 o'clock yellow
Polsilver
Astra sp
And I don't like feathers
Any enlightenment would be much appreciated.

It's a process of elimination I am afraid, blades are firmly in the one man's meat is anothers poison catagory. Personally the Gillette 7 o clock Yellow has been a revelation for me and is firmly my number one blade which I will happily use in all my razors.

Out of the blades you have listed I would say the Gillette Rubies would work just fine with your Blackbird, but I agree with what Wayne said, what work's for me may not work for you.

I use Polsilver SI. They work in just about everything for me.

I used mine today with a Polsilver SI to great effect, but then it's my favourite blade in pretty much anything.

All my favourite blades work in a Blackbird. I think blades are face specific and not razor specific.

Last two shaves with my Blackbird OC was with Polsilver SI and Gillette Silver Blue blades. Amazing result..sooooo close and efficient.

I think I've probably used all the blades listed by the OP, and others besides. I particularly like Gillettes and Polsilvers.

I’ll go with Astra Sp very smooth and sharp enough to deliver a good BBS since Blackbird is quite aggressive.
