http://www.traditionalshaving.co.uk...7-Cyril-R-Salter-Shaving-Soap-99g-Refill.htmlWhere did you get this from @Acer89
I've seen non-tallow versions floating around too, albeit with slightly different weights
The 99g and 57g versions are non-tallow unfortunately. They have the 99g listedhttp://www.traditionalshaving.co.uk...7-Cyril-R-Salter-Shaving-Soap-99g-Refill.html
You may wish to check with them about the tallow and non tallow versions. I've seen refill pucks of 57, 70, 90 and 100g
Cyril R Salter make the tallow version in regular batches. Give traditional shaving a ring and ask them about availability of the tallow version. .
I have tried the Solid soap courtesy of James @Acer89 , it really is quite exceptional in terms of performance especially as it is so inexpensive. Definitely in regular use, no more soaps needed by me if I am sensibleA good opportunity to give Cyril R. Salter solid soap a try. Inexpensive, made in the UK, available in 70 and 100g sizes and chocka full of lovely tallow.
I also have two of the Salter creams but the solid puck soap is leagues ahead in terms of cushion and glide.
It won't break the bank either.
@MPF9 ..your thoughts please?

Hmmm. Not sure. When I used it a few years ago I loved it. If I used it back to back with Nuavia as I did for several soaps earlier this year I'm now not so sure it would pass muster. Also I have a water softener and that seems to aid some soaps. If Shavedash have some I'll include some in my next order and feedbackDo you stand by this statement, Paul? Having used the Sartorial soap a few times now, it's miles away from e.g. Mike's in skin feel. It rather borders on irritation. Knowing that you are particular about your soaps, I am surprised this one fits your bill.
