Best post shave?

No it's not a cream! More of a firm croap. Similar to Stirling.

Are these ones available in the UK at all? As much as I’ve enjoyed these American bases I’m paying over the odds if I can get similar performance at a cheaper price.

Cheers man. I think once I’ve exhausted my supply of the American soaps I’m going to look into soaps like these. I’m past the point of really caring about post shave as I use a moisturiser anyway. As long as the soap is slick and protective I’m game.

Extro are real sleepers in the soap world. Really good soaps - I have a few in the den. They're made by Don Donato who is arguably the Grandaddy of artisan shaving soap.

Used A&E Uno soap this morning after I used Zingari Man Sego Nomad yesterday and I have to say the Zingari Man kills the A&E on post shave by some margin and seems slightly more protective during the shave. The Zingari man balms are meant to be very good as well.

Having used Zingari Man’s Sego base recently I’d say it might be the best post shave I’ve experienced from an artisan soap. It’s certainly comparable to Wholly Kaw Siero at a cheaper price point.

Been looking into the Extro Cosmesi products and can‘t find samples via shavedash.

Anyone who has tried a few of these that can give me a recommendation on scent?!

After trying out a few soaps over the last few weeks, I now know that I dislike strong scents. Am looking for something from Extro that smells clean, natural and not too strong. My favourite smelling soap at the moment in SV Dolomiti.

I have the ones you see in the picture below. The Freddo is a cooling one and probably smells the most neutral. They all smell fantastic and natural. I think you'd be happy with any one of them.

@Boycie83 thanks, always liked the cooling sensation of proraso regardless of the season. If Freddo offers the same feeling with better performance it sounds perfect.

I'm not sure I would classify this as the 'best' soap for post shave feeling but @pearse85 said that some soaps leave his skin feeling a bit dry. Try Mike's natural (shavedash have some) that soap always leaves my skin feeling nourished - too much so in the Summer for my oily skin.
