Indeed, the only downside, for me at least is the scent as it makes me want to eat it! It smells a lot stronger than the last brick I had, and reminds me of marzipan and desiccated coconut. :hungry:
I find the scent dissipates over time; that said my sense of smell is not great. I stocked up with several bricks when there was talk of the formula changing, but thankfully that has not yet happened as far as I am aware.

Oh a formula change? Damn I hope not! Mine appears to be the same ingredients list as last time. Do you know what they were planning to change with the formula? Thanks!

I had a shave with SD Vitos Extra Super (Red) today and it really is an outstanding soap for the price. Lathers easily, lovely cushion and slickness and post shave is decent. Can't go wrong really. Great stuff!
Check out the Vitos Classica Cream as well. Great stuff too, outperforms most of the creams in the market imo.

Palmira Albus-Kockica ..... I enjoyed a good shave. For a good foam you have to work hard.
Put soap in a box like this. Pour over hot water and leave for 5-10 minutes. Filling with which a drop of water synthetics makes the best foam, go to MUG and add a little water with your fingers. It takes effort, but it pays off.

I was surprised by a new French artisan soap with tallow base . Really is excellent. and the artisan only works with EO's
