Best Cheap Frags

Surprised Tabac hasn’t been suggested in the thread.

Plenty of cheap options to suggest, but towards the start of the thread, it seemed like cheap *alternatives* is what the OP was asking about. If that’s the case, I am against these people somewhat as they undermine the hard work of perfumers. That said, I don’t agree with pricing something at 300 times the cost of making it as that’s just plain greed.

But plenty of “drug-store”/pharmacy fragrances to choose from. Tabac, Aramis, Georgio Beverley Hills and so many more.

Have you tried the sprays or oil from perfume parlour? And for anyone who's tried both, what do they prefer?
I have a couple of perfume sprays 1401 and 1972 which are similar to Dior’s Rosewood and Purple Oud respectively. For the price, they are pretty good IMO but not as long lasting, (as you would expect from something costing a fraction of the price of the original). I have no qualms about using copy-cat scents given the astronomic margins the Perfumery houses make. I assume that the copy-cat products use synthetic rather than natural oils as a means of replicating the scent and keeping costs down, but at about £12 or so for a 50mm spray who‘s going to argue?

Thanks ukrob. I'll get round to trying Perfume Parlour at some point. Whenever I look to place an order at least 2 of the five I want to try are out of stock

Only frag I have ATM and pretty cheap is Franck Oliver Black touch. Love it, an ex colleague wears (far too much TdH) and I prefer BT regardless of price. I sampled TdH Fraiche which I loved for hotter weather, but OOS on PP

Out of control
I bought 6 Milton Lloyd EDPs, and the one that went down really well with my wife and daughter is #1, apparently a clone of JPG Le Male.

My advice is Jaguar perfumes.
Not very well known but really excellent.
It should be noted that the nose who created these perfumes is a guru in the sector: Dominique Preyssas.
Jaguar for Man
Jaguar Classic Amber
Jaguar Classic Black
They are all three very good in my opinion and they cost relatively little.

I fully concur. I'm also a fan of the Classic Blue, Classic Motion, Classic Electric Sky and Era offerings. I note that all Jag scents are actually made by Lalique 😺
