Review Barrister's Reserve

To update on shipping alcohol-based aftershaves from North America - Top of the Chain ( https://topofthechain.ca/product-category/barrister-and-mann-reserve-line/ ) does ground shipping and the shipping rates are quite small. On the other hand, sea/ground mail takes forever

Reserve is probably the best ASL I’ve used. I had a colleague bring some over last September time and I used the Classic a few times but it wasn’t a favourite of mine. I’m now using it up but it smells different to how I remember it, a bit off, slightly musty. Am I imagining this or is it possible for an alcoholic splash to turn in six months?

P.S. I have the Fern coming via ground shipping from top of the chain. Might be the slow boat from Canada but hopefully it’ll be worth it.

I'm intrigued by the Classic, which was the OP's least favourite of the 3 splashes. It is an attempt to recreate Gillette's Sun Up. I have close to a lifetime stash of vintage Sun Up, which I use a couple times a week. However, vintage Sun Up can still often be bought on ebay for significantly less than B&M charge for their knock off/tribute/recreation. But I'll probably try it at some point. It is a terrific 1960s scent.
