Bargain Spotting

I've checked every day and phoned up ES and asked if I could pay in advance for one I was that keen. They got 9 and they went in no time. I even checked this morning. Seriously unimpressed.

Saw this earlier but the ATT SE has consolidated it's place in my den and given the description of the Claymore it seems quite similar in aggression.
Which handle did you go for on the ATT, for me price point is making me lean to the claymore if they are that close

They only got 9? That doesn't seem like good business in today's wet shaving market! I'm not surprised you're not impressed!

I chose the bamboo and very happy with it. Never tried the Claymore but the ATT is smooth and fairly mild around a 5 on a Progress IMO (feather Pro). Obviously different blades will alter face feel.

I believe this is just the initial batch and more will be available in a couple of weeks. If (big if) it can deliver the quality of shaves that the ATT SE1 gives at half the price then they are on to a winner….

Yep more in two weeks, apparently the handle makers are on holiday. Sod it I'll get an ATT SE1

I took the plunge - but it may find its way onto BST pretty quickly if it's not a competitor for my Mongoose or Cobra. I'll do a comparison write up once it's delivered.....

I received an email stating that they will have several hundred razors in stock in just a few weeks.

From an email on 8/2:
"We are expecting a limited number of Claymore razors and stands this week, we will have 100s of razors available within the next 2-3 weeks."

English flat bottom tech - brand new. I'm not the seller but for the money and condition you will not go wrong. Better than most modern zamac offerings you're looking at a multiple lifetime-lasting razor for £20 BIN + postage or maybe make the fella an offer.
I have no vintage razors. Generally happy with what I have. Occasionally think it would be novel to own an oldie in pristine condition so when I spotted the advert here I thought I'd do as you say and make the fella an offer. £18 plus postage. Nothing heard for a day then a note from Ebay saying the offer was rejected and the item was now sold (at the full asking price). Don't know if I missed the bargain of a lifetime or not. Bit late to regret not buying it outright now though.
