My son sent me these photos lee …. And having spoke to him and asked him about the weight he says it feels solid in the hand. And so of course I have to rub salt in the wound and post just to get you all riled up
I have the previous sing,e edge from Mike on the way and also the brand new version which I believe is also based on the vector. When we are back at the end of the month I shall give them a try and send them all to you young man. Sincerest respects as always. J.

You’re a gent as always! Thank you for the very kind offer! I always felt the Excalibur shaved better than the Vector for daily shaving, it was milder, I guess like a Vector Lite. I nearly bit on the new Shield AC this morning but the news of a new DE, plus colour coated ones has made me hold fire.
Three items arrived yesterday:
(1) Carbon Shaving CX Graphite Base Plate in the "+" configuration,
(2) Carbon Shaving Leather Travel Case - really nice and supple leather. I recommend this one!
(3) Shield Stomper SE Razor - takes 1/2 regular DE blades - will report tomorrow after I take her for a spin tonight.
