Yes, I think the 'plate chart' can appear scary at first, but there's nothing scary about my F-OC either. I am leaning more towards the OC plates on the Karve though, as I just don't seem to be getting on with the SB plates for some reason.Thank you , Callum and will do. I have no issues using either SB or OC in Karve, but I do prefer the OC.Yes, I think the 'plate chart' can appear scary at first, but there's nothing scary about my F-OC either. Interesting discussion. For me there is no definite answer to which plate I prefer. Sometimes OC feels better, sometimes SB. Perhaps it depends on the season and the effect this has on the skin? Best to hang onto all of them as they‘re not too expensive in brass anyway.I have no issues using either SB or OC in Karve, but I do prefer the OC.
Beautiful looking bowl Steve. I can imagine what kind of a lather that would create. Avalanche. Sincerest respects my friend. J.
Thanks, Mark. Loving the larger knot Thäter fans.very nice David
Sartorial is the dogs danglies. Amazing refined scent.Topping up the frag collection with Azzaro Wanted By Night. Something I have wanted for a while now.
Also got some nice samples to try, Penhaligon's Endymion & Sartorial, PDM Herod & ADP Yuzu.
I haven't smelled any of these, Azzaro was a blind buy as I liked the original. I'll be testing later.

After testing Sartorial it is a must buy, stunning, amazing, fantastic!
Very happy with the Azzaro, it has the dna of the original, projects strong & the bottle is cool!
That looks ok to be fair, great for £60. Personally I don’t like clones, think it takes away from the people who actually design, but in the other hand it’s great to have something for people to get, especially if it might beat the original.View attachment 98531

Alignment looks great from a quick blade-less check. I’ll check again once I’ve loaded a blade up later on. Weight is heavy but it feels balanced, nothing that’s going to be uncomfortable to shave with. A really nice little package for £60.
I agree, and having owned a Rex there’s not a comparison really. The Rex is beautifully built, it’s a really good quality piece of craftsmanship. This is nice but it’s obviously cutting corners. Sadly the Rex never worked for me so hoping this is a lower price alternative that will be smoother. I do think it’s a good deal but I suppose it’s a bit like Yaqi brushes. You’re cutting corners and saving money but there’s no soul to it.That looks ok to be fair, great for £60.
