The way the base plate and top cap fit together resembles the Souplex Double Six a lot, at least to me.couple of arrivals todaythe gap on hyper aggressive plate looks even scarier than in pictures! Love the case for it too - think I need to get some cases for my other razors too!

Just googled that! I can see what you mean - I wouldn’t be surprised if that was one of the razors that Stirling took as inspiration !

Uni Star K, two plastic containers of 12 pencils each (both boxes are B); €6.84 / £5.86 per dozen, i.e. total €13.68 for 24 pcs.
Uni Ball Mitsubishi, two (green) paper boxes of 12 pencils each (one box is B and the other 2B); €3.74 / £3.20 per box.
Uni Star K, two (white) paper boxes of 12 pencils each (one box is B and the other 2B); €6.75 / £5.79 per box.
Prices exclude VAT (to be reimbursed as I put all these expenses under the company).
Early 2020 I had placed an order from a Japanese eBay seller for a dozen of these, but the COVID-19 crises came along and posting from Japan was suspended until further notice.
While at the time I had opted to wait, I contacted the seller few days ago and asked for a refund (which was granted).
Quick search and easy to find these in downtown Athens earlier this am...
Lately I have been mostly writing with pencils, using exclusively KUM or LYRA long point sharpeners.
Two humble yet classic German fountain pens as well, both with an 'F' nib.

Lamy Al Star is my everyday pen. It is anything but humble, it really punches above its weight. Prices here are going silly for some years now but I haven't bought any in recent past.

I ordered this after I ordered the ATT SSRH but this has arrived first, so guessing there might have been a stock issue. Anodising on the razor is excellent and despite stand being a scratch and dent it also looks good. Can’t wait for the stainless to arrive,I’m looking at tracking it could be tomorrow.
