I thought Nick had an account here. Where did he wrote this one Toby?

As for the Greek forum I used to participate there also, but I was making fun most of the time, so they decided to ban me for 2 days. So I decided not to participate any more.

Some people simply don't understand that these kind of forums include jokes, fun and sometimes irrelevant posts in irrelevant threads. I never insulted anyone btw.

There are still good greek people here from that forum who were kind and polite to me so I have no worries of not writing there.

Μιχαλης, Κωνσταντίνος, Αντρέας, CaptainHx. Sorry if I forget someone.

Heartfelt condolences to all our Greek members, especially all who've lost family and/or friends, a desperate tragedy.

I read a report that the fires may be the result of arson. If so, frankly whoever's responsible should be turned over to the mourners.

The Greek Defense Minister went live on BBC TV y'day morning and practically said that the loss of life and property near the beach is the fault of the people who built these homes nearby. He claimed that the subject area is one in which property development should have been illegal for years.

At the same time it is his government that officially, still today, allows every individual owner of land in such areas to settle their case (by paying a fee) and thus legalise their right to build property in that piece of land.

There has never been a greater scam in this country than these incompetent populists who now run it. May their time in office finally end soon, and forever.

It happens here as well K. The doctor's surgery was moved from.clode to our Pharmacy as they were refused planning permission to expand. 6 months later flats built beyond the size and height of the surgeries application. Someone got rich many sufferered. Politics 101. They also recently tore down an old age residents home and relocated 70+ year olds around the country. In its place a private nursing home. Money talks.
