Aquisitions - June 2017

[Burgundy]

Tuxedo and Cashmere brushes (flanking a Plisson) came in today. The former has more backbone than the latter, which is more yielding, but both splay happily in use. They more resemble the Plisson Fiber than the Mühle STF in that they're incredibly soft and aren't too springy.

The handles aren't exactly awe-inspiring but, for £50 delivered for the pair, I'm very happy. If I find that I particularly love one or both, there's always the custom route to go down. Saying that, I've been thinking about upgrading from the Plisson La Maison du Barbier handle for years but still haven't done so...

Arrived today, left on the door step, on the up side no request for VAT or Import Duties.
First shave tonight.

I have one of those, had it for years ...........maybe I should try shaving with it at some point.......

Kickstarter Rockwell 6c with blades and blade bank. Overall finish is nice but I could never describe this as being gun metal.
