Quality looks good. Aligns perfectly and no defects. The finish (bead blasted I think from the look of it) has a bit of a sparkly bling look. Might end up polishing it up.

KAI Stainless is not very edgy (too sharp) against the Feather Hi Stainless, KAI Stainless is very comfortable, sometimes not very smooth as YMMV.

YMMV, I can only get 6 or 7 shaves from the KAI stainless.

My routine is to toss a blade after three shaves. Never understood the need to push a blade when unit cost is so low.
I get on well with these, smooth and sharp. Behave a bit like a AC, thicker blade so they don’t fit perfectly in all razors.

Well that's more than me because I am a firm one and done guy now days, you should easily get 3 great shaves.
When I started wet shaving I used to rinse the blades life, when I was trying various different ones and remember the Kai lasting so long I would get tired of waiting and sling it just so I could write something different down on my S.O.T.D posts.

Kai was my favourite de blade - tied with the Brazilian Wilkinson sword. ( still got thousands of each….. just in case the day ever comes….. of wanting to dive head first back in LOL )

I find that irrespective of blade brand I use, I invariably find the second and third shaves to be smoother than the first.

excluding the fact that kai are among my favourites with mild razor, it's only a matter of finding just the right blade for your face.
The good old Sheffield steel is no longer used, almost everything written on the blades boxes are spaces balls .
No steel blade made today will last as some vintage ones, will rust sooner
Under the microscope the Feather seems to have 2 bevel . When the first rough bevel is finished they shaved better .
Some apparently or under microscope better quality blades shave the face much worse than those that seem full of micro chips and have a worse edge.
