I was born n bred in Pudsey a town between Leeds and Bradford. Moved away when I was 14. Since then I've lived all over the world from NZ, OZ, Indonesia to name just a few countries. Ive now lived in West Wales since 2003 after I came home from Indonesia after being mixed up in the Bali bomb that kind of messed my head up.

My grandad was born and bred Rodley. My dad was born in Pudsey before moving to Bramley where I was born and bred. I always go to Pudsey at least once when I'm home. For the best fish and chips Leeds has to offer, in my humble opinion.
The Wetherby Whaler - Pudsey branch particularly fries in lard, makes all the difference to the veggie oil restaurants.

I dearly miss Fish and Chips, as I remember from my youth... wrapped in newsprint.

I'm old enough to remember when the Wetherby Whaler was 1st opened and was called Craven's 🤔 my fave fish and chips used to be Valley Rd chippy as a kid, but my Nan used to love the Wetherby Whaler, that reminds me that I've not been back to Pudsey since my Nans funeral about 4 years ago.

My grandmother still refers to it as Craven's.

I was stumped, I was like where the hell is that....... She was like you remember top of Lowtown......... Aaah you mean Craven's 😂😂
