So, I'm looking to see if any members here have used the Antica Barbieria Colla balms? Specifically the Apricot Hull balm. Is it any good? Is it worth the coin? I think £54 for a bottle is a little excessive tbh!

I've used them all as well, if only in sample size, and I agree that the Apricot isn't worth the extra cost. They are all very expensive, but the skin does feel nourished and quite supple after using these products. I really liked the green tobacco, but the budget forced me to seek a less expensive green tobacco balm. I found a nice one by Tcheon Fung Sing, and while it is a very good product it isn't as good as the ABC milk. The woman and the children here in the cabin are constantly clamouring for food and shoes. They're ruining my fun.

Not good products for the money. INCI speaks by itself too.

The world of Italian men's grooming product manufacturers is not that big. I'm pretty certain one could, with a bit of effort, uncover from whence Antica Barbieria Colla purchase their skin care products. A couple years ago I dug around and discovered that the ABC bristle shaving brush was a rebranded Mondial product, which can be had for 1/3 the price of the identical brush sold by ABC but without the adhesive ABC sticker on the base. I shared that discovery on several shaving fora and the Mondial boar, largely unheard of or forgotten, has since become increasingly popular among boar aficionados. The same research could probably discover ABC's source for these after shave milks, where they then might be purchased at a fraction of the cost charged by Antica Barbieria Colla.

You can't compare two completely different 'items'. One is for skin. Colla has an INCI which wasn't worth it. Paraffinum & co. Are you (you = Colla) kidding us or whatelse? Why have I to pay so much money for such stupid ingredients? Sorry.Have it, love it. Worth the price? And worth Ferrari its price?
EDIT: It's a Ferrari on you, but it's not a Ferrari for real.

As an aside Mondial software is in fact made by TFS. The only substantive difference being the packaging

I assume you refer to Tcheon Fung Sing? If so, you are absolutely correct. They make lovely soaps & other products for Mondial. They make some items for Razorock as well. I have an unopened bowl of Mondial green tobacco soap that this thread has encouraged me to crack open for tomorrow's shave, despite the fact that I'm working on a dozen other soaps & creams at the moment.
