This is my 26mm G5B knot set about 55mm in a 28mm hole.
This has some major backbone, like the G5C if set too low. The tips are scritch free but have quite a bit of presence on the face. It's damn scrubby.
@TheBurgh you wanted a scrubby brush and this is the scrubbiest I remember using and could be even more so if set lower. I wouldn't use this if my face were feeling tender! It doesn't have the plushness of the G5C but also like the G5C both are very dense and therefore can lack flow-through if set too low and push the lather around the face rather than spread it evenly.
I find both the B and C quite extreme: the backbone and density of both are high to very high depending on how they are set, the B is scrubby and the C is plush and if I had to select one it would be the C as I prefer the plushness to the scrubbiness. I like the C but understand why many wouldn't like it as it's not 'average' at all.
