Just made an edit and clarification re postage and for provisions for bubble envelopes etc. May be a little tricky to calculate in advance, but would probably be most tidy and safe to ask for payment in advance of ordering. Suggestions? We’re at a total of more than £300 now.

Deadline is a good idea. Toward the end of the week maybe? I’ll do my best to calculate [estimate] everyone’s totals, but obviously don’t have the tins in hand to establish weight and volume precisely...

I’m fine with either payment options, but would prefer not being left out of pocket, so would kindly ask for compensation in case of G&S - around 3-4 percent is it?

Complicated for overseas transactions, but 4% seems in the right ballpark. The main reason that I mention this is because PayPal have had a clampdown on the use of F&F.

One thing though.... Did you say when they will be ready to ship? I only ask as I send lots of parcels nowadays and there are delays at present due to Covid and Christmas.... Just mentioning this so people's expectations are in line with reality.

Ah, yes, good thinking. If people sort their payments expediently, I’ll get the order in straight after, and he will be ready to ship to me immediately, Monday. Add time to reach me plus wrapping individual orders, I suppose realistically we are looking at Friday next week for shipping abroad. Advisable to hold on shipping, you think, to avoid holiday chaos and what I imagine may be a somewhat higher loss rate? Never ever experienced any other issues than long transit time when sending abroad, for the record.

As for int’l F&F vs G&S, there will be a fee regardless, on sender in one case and recipient in the other. And although I indeed am the sender, I am not a seller per se and would prefer not to have the fee deducted and left out of pocket. Nevertheless, PayPal probably would call these commercial transactions, so maybe best go with G&S and provision for the fee, ie add 4%? I could actually invoice everyone directly via PayPal, come to think. Maybe that’s the way to go, plus notify of calculation details in PM.

Sure, Steve. Accounting for soap, postage, packing and fees, I'd send a PP request for NOK 245 I believe, and you'll be charged £21-22, G&S payment. (Note that postage would be the same if you added a second soap.)

Sure, upfront payment is no problem. As my 5 tins need to be sent from the UK to Denmark there will be extra shipping cost which I will cover. I am fine with F&F or G&S eigther but to honest we should face reality that we are actually doing G&S here....
Anyway, I will cover all fees etc. related to my order. @halvor is doing a super job here so we all need to help to make the transaction as smooth as possible.

Soaps will be coming straight from Norway to Denmark, though, Marco. Will PM you this evening, but postage will be NOK 180 in your case given weight and volume.
