Any scent recommendations Wayne?
I have Positano which is Fig based, nice, manly, musk and Del Don which is a citrus again with aded musk for depth. Both good and at EDT concentration they give the face feel and also the fragrance many are light on. Splash and go. I have heard good things about them all. They are available at Executive Shaving

I can't speak for the lotions but I have had most of the 'original' DR Harris line-up in Cologne form. The scents are quite classy and will stand alongside designer EDTs in terms of quality. Their sandalwood is probably my favourite example from the Mayfair/ St James vendors. Marlborough is a cedar / sandal combo that seems to divide opinions. I like it. Arlington is a citrusy number that seems popular but I am not really into citrus scents (except for Dior Eau de Sauvage when I travel).

However, at cologne strength most scents are pretty weak - 3 hours maybe before they become ski scents, so I would suspect any lotions would also be quite subtle.

Edit: I meant skin scents. Although I am sure they are also suitable for skiing! 😁

Positano might just be the best Extro scent I’ve tried. It’s a “green” fig scent with a fair amount of scent to it. I love it. They do feel superb as well.

Wholly Kaw’s and PannaCrema’s lotions are the absolute best to me. Wholly Kaw’s scents can be a hit or miss but I don’t know anyone who doesn’t like King of Oud. PannaCrema has only four scents but none of them are offensive in any way and Blu is flat out magical. PannaCrema is thinner than Wholly Kaw and soaks in quickly for me.
Happy hunting

@jphelan81 You were originally on the right track - go with B&M and Stirling, both have good combination of alcohol and post shave quality. And a wide selection of scents to chose from.

Re: Extro - you may want to try O'Selvaggio if you fancy original Dior Eau Sauvage.

Any lotion with a fragrance you like (even cheap ones with mainly alcohol in it) mixed with GD Unscented Moisturizer (2-3 drops) for the best nurishing ingredients.

Sorry, the right description for GD moisturizer is Rejuvenating Serum, unscented. Great stuff, I think Zingari makes similar. It only takes a few drops to any lotion to nourish and improve skin, especially overnight.

No mention of myrsol yet, simple ingredients & great face feel.

Their fragrance is short lived though, I have most of them, they really are the business.

Lemon & plastic-shave are classics.
Lemon is exactly what you expect, fresh, not synthetic. Plastic is a barber shop with a hint of rose / cough syrup vibe. The post shave feel of plastic is hard to beat imo.

For fragrance; fine are excellent, they hiked their pricing a while back & seriously over priced for a good but not exceptional performer.

I‘m primarily an unscented soap guy, and enjoy a handful of aftershave splashes. In alphabetical order, B&M Diamond, Proraso Red, Speick and Swiss Pitralon are my favorite scents with a special shout out to Fine’s Snake Bite.
