Aeropress seal?

Has anyone found it necessary to replace one?

I’ve had mine for a few years now and it’s had a fair amount of use. I think it’s ok but I was wondering if it might need replacement.

Sorry for the distraction, but this is the best maker I have ever had. I actually use my ancient Chemex and am saving the one that came with the unit. The stainless filter fit my old Chemex perfectly and the unit maintains the temperature of the brew. This is actually a copy of the Chemex version, but more than half the price. I replaced mine few months ago. The rubber seal around the plunger was not holding anymore while disassembling.
