It is excellent stuff. I have used it on furniture and bronze pendants that I make.

You may want to consider a clear coat (thin and will not alter blade gap). Renaissance Wax after clear coat. Hope you bought the smallest possible container of Renaissance Wax and have a well ventilated area (like outdoors). Nice looking razor. I have a Charcoal Goods OC Level 1 Copper and DB Level 2 Brass and no urge to buy more razors.

Found a full bottle of Yardley Citrus Wood EdT at the Salvation Army Store for $5.00. Worth a shot at that price and it turns out to have a pleasing scent.

The website mentioned meeting some VOC limits - must be some really high limits. Hopefully you ordered the smallest possible can. I went for the giant economy 200ml size which could wax the Statue of Liberty (copper).

I have asthma and paint or toxic chemicals do bother me. The website has "use in ventilated space warning". In many cases, just a lawyer/solicitor increasing billable hours, however, valid with the Renaissance Wax. I did use a pollen/dust mask, but just outdoors is probably adequate for most anyone. Apply 2 coats. No smell when razor is dry.

If you know anyone that needs a 199.9ml can only used on Sunday , let me know.
