On first looks and feel, it has more backbone than a plissoft due to the glue being set higher in the knot if that makes sense.

Received these five vintage Wilkinson Profile razors.
This is where cartridge development should have ended - two-blade cartridges are excellent shavers.

Opened up one of them and used it this morning and the shave was very, very good.
(And yes, another fantastic design by Sir Kenneth Grange)

Received this rather lovely, smaller, vintage Kent brush in NOS/NIB condition. About $17.

It got added to my small 'collection' of vintage, white British shaving brushes;

It's not a new razor, it's a retractor!

I swear they were yellow, though ... perhaps I was using Safeway's own brand, or something. What with it being "a big thing", the retractor, it's unlikely that there were clones that early on.

Ha, will do. In two years I've only ever seen them come up once and that was for 60 razors that the seller wanted about $100 for and refused to sell me just one bag of ten

The Shava IIs are easier to find though and I managed to get a couple of bags of those. Decent shavers as well
