[Poirots Tache]

A month ago I received this brush from Shavemac. Silvertip 2B 25x52 + 10% extra hair.

My idea was that it was going to be my own Christmas present.

As a coincidence, a couple of days after the brush arrived, I decided that after many years of smoking, it was time to say stop.

I have not smoked for a month, it is being hard but I am very proud to say that I HAVE NO SMOKED THIS BRUSH, so I already earned it

well done and great looking knot!

The Maze handle is a favorite - hoping released again in copper. I went from SS lvl 1 to my Brass Lvl 2 - first shave felt aggressive in comparison. Second shave felt so good I sold the SS and purchased Copper lvl 1 OC.

A RazoRock Mamba. I recently have tried it and a Timeless 0.68, both loaned to me by a friend, and both gave me an easy BBS shave with my high-quality vintage blades. It was quicker for me to learn the 'sweet spot' of the Timeless, but the Mamba became my choice mainly because of its lighter weight (about 30g for its head vs. 45g for that of the Timeless), which made it significantly easier for me to hold, and also because of its much lower price. I went ahead and purchased one.

To be cleaned up and moved on:

The Wostenholm is very clean, the double crown needs new scales and a hone. The Geneva will clean up but will never be a looker. The walang is scrap. All in, a very decent buy.

Wow... congratulations on a very beautiful brush and even more congrats for giving up the ciggies.

Work out how much you'll save each year and how many Shavemac's you could buy with that money. That should be enough incentive to give up for good. Think about that whenever you get the that devil craving!
