Just received this beauty in the mail today. 26mm Silvertip on an L7 handle. This is my first hand-made artisan brush; Mervyn even washed it 5 times and it smells fresh and ready to go. Using it tonight...can't wait.

Decided to pick up a jar of Nuàvia Verde to see what all the fuss is about. It smells incredible.

Also thought it was time to upgrade my shaving brush, so grabbed the Epsilon synthetic in butterscotch along with the travel case from Gifts&Care.

Had a peek at paste-and-cut and that stuff looks [sic] to smell wonderful. Particularly appealing to me were Mycroft and General Ledger (not being the biggest on agrumes). Seems the producer only caters to the national market, am I right?

I've never been one for trawling around endless charity shops but during my weekly High Street shop I do check out the Oxfam and PDSA shop.

Always pop in, you never know what you may find. I'm a magnet for soap dishes. Here's a few of my finds. A good rub with a quality buffing wax works wonders on wooden bowls.

Yes it's very practical and works well. I removed the original knot because it was far too floppy.

Here's the original: brush

Replaced with a Shavemac D01 2-band set at 44mm loft and glued with epoxy so yes it's now one piece
