I dumped a huge wedge of my non-1912 collection onto a pal, which has given me a load more space to spread out my 1912s ... with a few 1914s and one or two 1924s. I'm a 1912 man, you know ...

With all the excellent artisans out there now DR Harris seems to go under the radar a tad, very good cream and soap.

Haven't used the Harris creams yet but the soaps are very good indeed. I'm not that much of a sandalwood fan but theirs is very nice indeed.

I did indeed. They were waiting for me in the mailroom at work as I've been on the road a lot recently.

1903 J Peterman Vintage Cologne kindly gifted to me by @Cat_man_do

The glass bottle is encased in gorgeous real wood with a hand engraved date: 1903.

A very pleasant mild cologne old woody fougère.” Clean citrus notes, bergamot, “green notes.” The middle notes: clary sage, cardamom. The dry-down: leather notes, smoky labdanum… elemi, tabac, frankincense

People on here are so generous. Your kind generosity is very much appreciated

Last time I looked Peterman were still not accepting overseas orders - I managed to get some of the shaving soap via an American address - so I guess you won't see much of that AS in this country.
