Been in the pottery today to check up on another bowl.

They have found another clay supplier as they couldn't work with that last batch of the clay used for the Honey coloured bowls. They are going to have to do a lot of trailing testing before they even consider another run of bowls, and even then they may not do another run. That's also if I consider another run myself.

I had a chat too about them feeling rushed, they confirmed that it was them that put that pressure on themselves and that the suggestion it was me was indeed incorrect. I did pass on the many nice comments which were gratefully received.

Is this group buy still active?
I can't really find that it is closed, nor that it is still active.

I would be very much interested in a custom bowl.

No sorry it's not active anymore. I run these buys and I may do another some when.

On the last run the potter had a few problems. The major problem was that his supplier of some 59 years packed in. This meant he had to source clay elsewhere. Clay isn't just clay and the new supply has meant he has had to get use to working with it. So at the moment I'm waiting for the day when they want to try these again. Keep your eyes open for a new thread on the day he does.

Thanks for letting me know. I'll be sure to look out for new group bowl buys!

Went in to the potters second shop where the father works from. They are ok now with the clay and are ok to make some more. He also said they were having a fair few orders direct from people via their website.

He mentioned something as well about one with a brush stand they have been producing. Not something I've seen or heard about. If you are someone who has one of these please post a picture.

Now it seems it may be best if people can contact them direct. I think it may well be cheaper directly through them. I've always been very clear on what I have to charge. I have to buy in boxes and packing and also there are PayPal fees. Most pay as a gift but I like to make sure I abide by ATG rules and also give people the offer of security when paying.

So it's really up to everyone here what they want me to do. I'll run another group buy if people prefer or you can contact them direct.

Been in other pottery shop, they have two shops, and spoken to the daughter who arranges the bowl orders and all is indeed well.

I'll set up another thread in the next couple of days to run a list of everyone who's in. Overseas postage will be available as I know the potters won't ship overseas themselves.
