Congratulations Dawid for bringing this razor to life. Congratulations to me for buying one! :wink: It is a remarkable razor that delivers a very unique shaving experience. I liked the 3d printed test razor but in stainless it far exceeds my expectations.

I just signed up for the newsletter because I need a stand :)

Fully satisfied.

I have tried both of the plates I ordered, i.e. standard and efficient. There is a noticeable difference between both of these plates, and I can see me using both of them depending on my mood and/or skin condition. Whilst the standard plate is efficient, the +++ plate bumps up the efficiency noticeably. There is no discomfort during the shave but the downside is that there is also no real need to shave on the following day, well at least not with this plate :)

Edit: now I see better the Spiral handle from the pics, doesn't seem to be a copy of the Wolfman at all. At least not for me.

Nordy isn’t Wolfy enough to be a copy of the Wolfman razor.

I have been shaving with the Efficient plate now for some days - it fits my bill very well.
Before, I have been shaving a week with the Rex Ambassador, then with the Carbon Cx Plus plate - and now with the Nord Freyja Efficient plate.

Where this razor (and the Efficient plate) shines for me is the neck area. It‘s difficult to have a clean and BBS neck area without having to do multiples passes and touch-ups … the Efficient plate (paired with a Gillette “Black”) does it for me within the usual three passes (WTG, XTG and ATG). The end result is clean and no irritation, no nicks, no cuts …

I’m very pleased with it for the way it handles the neck area. Thanks Dawid @Nord Razors for all the hard work!

Yes, I was aware of that. It's "just" the handle though - they shamelessly copied the spiral one from us.
Nord baseplates are protected by design patents in many markets, including China. Just yesterday, I received confirmation from CNIPA that they have finally approved my application.

I was wondering, what do you people think if I opened a separate thread on Freyja, especially during the testing of the OC that I have received.

We can discuss there for them , or Freyja itself (I'm planning to use it constantly for my next shaves, with different blades, soaps).

What do you guys think?
