Been a hot couple of days. We have a tower fan on which is making it comfortable. Hate to say it but roll on some cooler weather.

Yea, high temperatures with high humidity levels are a real stinker. Without the high humidity levels, it becomes bearable with a decent breeze. Better yet is air conditioning. Last week it was 85F or more with very high humidity levels here and I don't know what I'd do if we did not have air conditioning keeping the house at 70F and low humidity. In the winter the furnace keeps the house at 70F with the outside temperatures reaching -25F and lower.

Anyone help , foxes have tore up my front garden. I have tried garlic, chilli pepper, commercial deterrents . What infuriates most is our garden is one of the best looked after and cared for around..a bit sole destroying when you watch it getting destroyed.

But the Conserve and Preserve commission at the EU have to be seen to be delivering value for money. I’m sure you’ve heard the old one about the Declaration of Independence and US Constitution each containing less than 500 words - whereas the EU dictat on Duck Eggs runs to 50,000 words.You would think that they would have more important things to do.

That’s just it “delivering value for money”. Same everywhere today. We have people at work “looking” at things, making decisions based on what they think !
As for jam, it will always be jam to me !
