Depending upon where you come into the UK, you could make a stop or two there on the way to somewhere with more days of interest. It ranges from beautiful altitude with steep valleys to lowland Dales. Mam Tor is a good yomp. Take in some sub-terranean wonder in the nearby caverns, too.
... then on to Snowdonia or up and across to the Lakes.
