Loving the designs - the brushes are where I really see a marketable future. You can design just about any shape, print it, pop a knot in and watch the readies come flooding in. Two tone black and pale ivory in this shape please:

A bit taller and wider for one’s gardening mitts, with the ability to host a 26mm Cashmere knot. Black atop the pale ivory. Can you include a logo or writing or is this beyond current technology? I’m but a mere heathen in these matters. Ooh, a lovely shade of Heart of Midlothian maroon atop white, even? I know, I know, Captain Mainwaring and, “You’re getting into the realms of fantasy now, Jones.”
I haven’t mastered CAD, so mission impossible for me. I did print a handle once, didn’t turn out great, the finish was poor. However you can glass finish PLA with an epoxy which gives a high shine and would waterproof. BUT, it’s expensive, may try it sometime in the future.

Always willing to give a handle a go for someone though.

I'll volunteer my design time and send you, or upload the file. But here's what I need. A very good front picture on a dark background and the height (mm only).

Any chance of trying out a DE razor like this beastie, please?

  • If this shaves well, I could see it in Wardonia off white with the existing black handle centre or maroon to match the brush? Ooh, I’m loving this carry on. MATRON! Come looky see at these nice toys, me want, WANT!!!
Razors are on the too try list. I would say on all these things, I’m willing to print as long as my costs are covered. I have to be careful too that I don’t appear to be making a profit. The people who design these allow free download, but a load stipulate that you cannot use them for profit making. Some even say you cannot take any form of payment, not even costs.

If you upload to a site like thingiverse they like you to licence your upload. Depends on if you wanted to protect your intellectual property.

Sorry, I’m now rather confused? Front picture on a dark background? That’s the only image I have - from t’internet. I can’t draw via computer and in fact I only currently have my old iPhone 7 to access the web. Sorry and thanks for your kindness but I’m not sure what it all really means…🤔🤷‍♂️😐

It's liquid glass (or in other words resin of two components).
It was painted on but the process was a disaster, this is why it dripped in a couple of points - but as I said earlier personally I do not mind.
It's an unbreakable bowl and hence quite convenient for the few times I need to initiate lathering a fairly sticky/gummy shave cream which I really can't do face lather with.

Understood. I thought it was your brush. A front picture allows me to scan and trace the profile to generate a 3d model.

Congrats on another really creative and attractive design @SlimGem :notworthy:

Not sure if you've be asked this before, but have you considered designing around a DE half-blade (snapped in two)? Are there pros or cons in the design compared for a Gem blade?

For me, it is just easier to design for a bigger blade. I duplicated the Rocnel SE-P once, and it turned out to be a very capable shaver. Maybe I can incorporate a similar blade holding method in a future design.
