"Racism" is a term that is thrown around by some when they can't abide someone else's opinion. The term has become meaningless in most quarters, and is looked upon with derision. American's birth right is liberty and freedom, while Europeans' have only a legacy of control. The British government has outlawed weapons in the hands of "commoners" for over a thousand years, which is why, when attacked, you have the right and responsibility, to die, and die quickly and quietly. Give me free speech tempered with the responsibility to ensure that it doesn't cause genuine harm to others any day rather than attempted coups by conspiracy theorists, massacres in schools and worst of all, mullet haircuts

Listen, this is a shaving forum. Lighten up. I may not appreciate every person’s political ideologies, thoughts and ideas. But, I don’t come here for that. If I read something that bothers my sensibilities, I don’t respond. Further, while I may not personally agree with other people’s opinions on non-shaving matters, I may however appreciate other people’s general sense of humor or experiences re: shaving, gear, etc. I can like a person‘s shaving related posts and disagree with his politics. Compartmentalism works for me.

The differences between fora are interesting to me. The mods here tend to be much more liberal in terms of giving people free reign to talk politics and other perhaps more controversial topics. I find the conversations, dialogue, etc. at ATG refreshing.
