Good stuff, those SBC gels ... I've used the Propolis gel after coming home from summer holiday with horrible raw sunburn. Healing was incredibly quick! I'm quite in favour of soaps which use raw honey - so far, it's been a set of pre-market tester from Meissner Tremonia that have really perked my interest in that direction.

Lush also have a solid deodorant. I have it but haven't given it a real test as yet.
Seems pretty good though.
I use soap in the shower as both a soap and a shampoo.
I was thinking about just how many lorry journeys that must save instead of carting about all that water in the shampoo.
There are 65 million of us, just imagine the amount of trips it would save.
We also have Lush shampoo bars. They last an absolute age. They seem really expensive, but I am well impressed.

I'm surprised Kiss my Face products have not been mentioned yet. Their shaving creams are excellent in addition to being entirely natural.

No parabens, phthalates, artificial coloring, artificial scents, SLS, etc.

I did not know that! I've read good things but never looked into them!

Plus one on lush, currently using their body soap, face soap and occasionaly shampoo bar and conditioner bar. Really enjoy their products... However not ALL of their products are paraben free. A few have parabens though supposedly a quarter of those used by other companies due to the products being hand made and shipped immediately as opposed to sitting inside a warehouse for years... In fairness everything is incredibly transparent in the way they market their products, everything is listed and the reason they use it explained. It's very much an informed purchase if looking on their website at the product first (I have none of their paraben products).

I reopen the thread because I tried Meissner Tremonia Paste. The Pots of Milk.

The lather was not in my preferences, I expected it to be more dense, although I didn't use much water. The slickness was there, but not great. Post shave feel was very good to excellent. This is the best part of this soap. I use way too much product but again the result was the same. I didn't cut myself and the blade was like it wasn't cutting anything. Protection was good. No stinging no irritation. I find it expensive for what it offers though. If it was much cheaper I might buy it again.

It isn't better than my Haslinger Schafmilch.

My thoughts only and YMMV.
