Surprisingly not, works similar to a 28 fan with controlled splay just more backbone and face feel, without any unpleasant scritch. Great knot.

The knots in the metal rings are for the B400 brush made by @twhite.. You can just make it out at the back... I can get a couple of better pics of you want..

You are very lucky. I've seen those and it might very well be the best Rubberset 400 homage out there. Tom is the men.

I've been trying to declutter my daily rotation stuff but I haven't allowed myself to actually part with anything. So some of it is stored away in a bin. But this is my den, travel kit, bin, medicine cabinet stash and my dedicated spot for the stuff I've used for that day's shave. Nothing there today as I haven't shaved today. I'm trying to come up with some small shelf ideas that would sit on the top of my dresser and allow me to display things a little better. But for the meantime I'm happy with my daily rotation of 10 DE razors (out of 30) and one straight edge (which I have used twice), my 9 brushes and dedicated travel brush (out of 16), my 5 lather bowls/scuttle, and my small stash of creams, soaps and aftershaves.
