Haslinger is great though I didn't put it s a must as it is/has undergone reformulation and I haven't tried the "new" formula. But I am surprised you you didn't rate the mighty V. (the mighty V2 would be Vitos Red haha)I tried valobra after much ado. Thankfully, a sample from shavedash, not a whole puck. It was... ok? Can’t understand the raving, certainly don’t consider it a must try. That said, hard to imagine many soaps that are universally loved. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Haslinger though... what a surprise! Beautiful, easy lather.
+1 on the Blue Stratos ! Sadly, while a very nice performing soap De Vergulde Hand gave me a lot of irritation. 4711 is a classic.Culmak soap, De Vergulde Hand soap (on the go for 450 years),Blue Stratos, and 4711 would be my additions to the list!
+1Everyone should try and complete a full shave with a Feather AC razor, I think many people would be pleasantly surprised, a stepping stone to straight razors.
That is what pushed me down the rabbit hole!Everyone should try and complete a full shave with a Feather AC razor, I think many people would be pleasantly surprised, a stepping stone to straight razors.
I couldn't lather it with my armpit let alone badger, boar, horse or synthetic. I think an electric toothbrush may workWrong wrong wrong!!!! MWF sucks!!!! Lol.
Anyway... Shouldn't derail the thread entirely, but couldn't resist having a pop at 'the fat!!!!
