Retrieving a draft from a post

Hello
Twice this week I've written a post, opened a new window and when I've come back to the post its gone.
Does the software save a draft periodicaly? If so, how do I find that?

Cheers

Hi Wazza, I will look into this for you. I just use a mobile device and when I close and then come back to said thread, in the post box, my message appears in grey but is still available to post.

Cheers nishy.
I mostly use my phone, its probably the phones fault due to refreshing the page but I know on other forums the draft can be brought up.
I was only off the page for about 30 seconds to a minute.

Drafts are saved automatically every 60 seconds and stored for 24 hours (unless you manually delete them), so if you move away before a minute is up it won't have done the initial save and you'll lose what you've typed.

You can manually force a draft save though, before you move away, by clicking the floppy disk icon and selecting Save Draft. :okay:

Cheers,
Shaun :D

I've just tried it, it seems to remember the draft automatically and only on the thread you were replying to

Yeah it does work, must have been under a minute. On other forums I've had to go on an option to retrieve it.
Cheers gents
