First date with my PILS

Just had a great shave using my trusted Pils with a new Feather Hi-Stainless blade. While I struggle with this blade in more agressive razors, it is my primary choice in milder razors like Pils, Raw RS-10 with mild plate or Hone Type 15.

The PILS keeps delivering it was clicking hairs off this morning, it was just an upper cheek and neck shave; nonetheless outstanding.

Just revisiting the thread to prove to myself I still have the willpower. Still using the Feather but the image of a polished PILS is flitting through my noggin now.

Did you not hear? Since you last had one they’ve been upgraded to be more efficient and smoother.

Can't imagine any razor more efficient or smooth than my little beauty. It's retired me from BST.

I've tried many now, currently using Permasharp, but I have enjoyed GSB, Polsilvers, old Astras and Gillette greens.

Feather, Polsilver -- just about anything. I found the magic angle almost immediately. If you're American, there are no runs, hits, or errors.

Got a satin finish Pils last week. Sure is one pretty razor. Still have to practice a bit with it, onl one shave so far, but I like handling already.
