Thank f*cking God for that! I couldn't stand much more. The pain was terrible. The Beard itself was O.K but the irritation just wasn't worth the aggro. Glad it's gone and the Blackbird/ Wizamet combo took it down easily. Back to myself and I no longer look like a vagrant, which is nice.

You no longer resemble your avatar?! I grew a beard for short while in my early twenties, partly as a reaction to cutting myself to ribbons wet shaving and making the classic novice mistakes. It was such a fag it didn't last long but the freshly revealed skin was smooth as a baby's bum. I've been trying to emulate that finish ever since, an increasing problem with the weather worn, wrinkly face!
