Windows 10 - unified inbox

Hello,

I have a couple of personal email accounts (Gmail & Outlook) + an Exchange account for my business. I thought it would be nice to have all emails in one place, with a unified inbox etc. Frustratingly, I have found it quite difficult to get an account working how I though they may.

I'm wondering if anyone has such a setup?

Gmail doesn't seem to like an Exchange account, Outlook just doesn't have a unified feature and Thunderbird is looking a bit dated.

Many thanks.

Years back I managed to get my Hotmail account forwarding to my Gmail, and it does a good job of filtering all the spam too. Not sure how...its been a few years since I logged into my now Outlook account but I'll take a look and see if that's any use?

Easy to link on mobile devices (IOS and Android) if that would help you. Also easy to link on Mac which obviously does not help you.

I have my old Hotmail, a university outlook and my Gmail all done through Gmail. New/Unread Hotmail emails have a delay showing up in my Gmail by 1-5 minutes but pretty good all round I found.
Gmail kind of hashes my three accounts together but the option to respond via the three is there, even if sometimes it's not so obvious which account I'm reading from immediately.

It is peculiar that Windows does not have this. I'm running Outlook 365 on Mac and have an 'All Folder' grouping at the top, which combines all email together. I recall this going back some years. I have a 365 account, an Exchange account and I have also added two IMAP accounts.

The solution seems to be to set up and save a custom search: https://www.lifewire.com/all-mail-folder-outlook-1173767

Other folks offer up emClient as an alternative: https://www.emclient.com ... which does do Exchange: https://www.emclient.com/em-with-microsoft-exchange < seems to be 'Smart Folders' which is kinda the same solution as the one above for Outlook

Thank you, sir. The Lifewire website is really good.
