Wholly Kaw soap base reformulation "Siero" .

I don't know why she doesn't use it. Maybe she'll add that in the future who knows or maybe she thinks other ingredients are better. I can't read her mind. Also note though that Zingari Man tubs are 5 oz of soap instead of the default 4, so that would translate to $16.8 for 4 oz of soap. $16.8 vs $30, you do the math. 😜
We must get some more Sego to s(h)ave our wallet then!

But Sego is now a hype, simply by the fact that is compared with Wholly Canolly.

And Randy is the worst victim of hype. He is afraid of NOT buying something by the fear of missing out.
I'll let you know what I think about Sego when it arrives and when I have used it, but I have high hopes for it based on what I've seen and read so far. The lather pictures in this thread look very promising.

To make things right, I could easily toss almost all the other products that I have and shave everyday with US artisans, Ariana, Wholly, Declaration, Barrister, Southern, Stirling, PAA, you name them.

In this list I could add some Wickhams and Phoenix & Beau.

And when something ends , buy the next base of the same brand or just another scent to try.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: once you enter the elite soap territory the differences become small and your preference will become more important.

It is good that you have really high expectations, cause will judge the soap properly and as a high end product.

Yes, tell me what you think, and please ignore the scent like many don't do, judge the mechanical attributes of the soap first and THEN the scent.

This is a lather porn for sure but I'm almost sure that if I put this on my face, the razor will clogg for sure and definitely that residual slickness mentioned won't be the highlight of this one.

To be fair though, the residual slickness also isn't the highlight of Siero for me. Like I've said before the main focus lies on post-shave feel with Siero, but I think the residual slickness is more than good enough. I've also mentioned before how dense the lather is. With Milksteak I find that the focus lies more on residual slickness. I also think that extreme residual slickness would be more beneficial to straight razor/shavette shavers and not necessarily to DE/SE safety razor shavers like us, but it's nice to have of course.

Oh don't tell that, you didn't see me doing that insane buffing with the Feather inside the Rockwell on #5 in the ATG pass!! So Milksteak is for me then.

I should have given it even more water btw or even bowl lather and try drown it to see what will happen.

Will do that for the next shave. (Not Will from Barrister & Mann, I'm talking about me) 😀

I just can't stop shaving where there is no lather, so I need something like an eel slime left behind to go over and over till the blade hits the bone.

Do you still believe I'm not a lunatic?? 😀😀

Also, residual slickness means even more water, maybe you didn't feed enough the Siero beast, in comparison with Milksteak?
