What's the Best Shaving Kit, you Ever bought someone?

Hey Fella's ,

A few months ago my nephew called by as I was shaving.
Suffice to say he saw my modest collection of soaps, creams, brushes and razors.
This peaked his interest in DE shaving and I have told him to watch some of the
youtube vids, posted by some of ATG members.
So it's his 18th birthday is a few days and I have bought him a few things,
1 Edwin Jagger DE 89 razor, A Rasorock Plissoft brush, a simple Lather bowl
& a selection of creams and soaps from Shavedash oh and 1 Alum block.
I have also thrown in an aftershave balm.
So what is the the best you ever bought someone else?

The best kit I've purchased for someone else was:
Razor: Fatboy
Brush: Semogue 610
Cream: Body Shop Maca Root
Blades: 50 Feathers

He still uses that same setup 9 years later. Even the blades, though he's had to reorder them and the shave cream.

Edit: If I had to do it over, I would have gotten him Kiss my Face shave cream instead and probably both Feathers, Astra SP's, and Ladas blades.

But this is a man I love like my brother. He will be my best man at my wedding in about 40 days. Family doesn't get that nice of a kit from me, at least not with Fatboy prices being what they are these days.

Nice starter kit! A great introduction to DE shaving and probably kit that we have all had through our hands at some point in our "career!"

For my two best men a couple of EJ DE razors, a selection of soaps and an Omega and Semogue boar each.

For my brother a vegan soap, EJ super badger and Merkur Progress.

My uncle received a TTO Gillette, vulfix 404 and TOBS sandalwood puck.

Also given away a Fatip, couple of techs another semogue, vie long synthetic and around 6/7 soaps

Yeah. I have to come up with groomsmen gifts as well...and I've already given the best man a Fatboy years ago. Pretty hard to top that. Maybe I'll get him one of those spinner things that @Darkbulb seems to be so enamoured of lately.

I buy people ADP kit quite a lot, from Collezione Barbiere stuff to Hat Boxes and if I can get them, special edition sets.

Got my grandad a Fatboy and Macca Root. Bloody minimalist uses the same razor every day with 300 Shark blades from bestshave.net
Got my dad a Digress, 39C, Cream bakelite Souplex and a Psycho Tech with another 300 Shark blades, along with the original Plisson synthetic.
