What video game are you playing?

I really enjoyed 'Ghost of Tsushima' in retrospect and rather regret selling it on. I'll likely re-buy it when the price comes right down or there's an offer. At the time, I was puzzled by the rave reviews as playing the game didn't seem to match with what was being said in the reviews. It felt at times like a PS3 game with highly repetitive textures, literally only five vegetation types. The mechanics were more on the RPG side, a genre which I don't especially enjoy. Nevertheless, I stuck with it, played it through and dropping into the world at times it was utterly beautiful! Then, in a snap back to PS3 look and feel.

The other game which sufferered terrible reviews at the time was 'Last of Us II' which I again wondered if those people were playing the same game. Absolutely epic! I really hope you enjoy that. Have you played part 1? Part 2 all revolves around the culminating scene in the hospital. If you've not, watch a playthrough video and the last 5 minutes or so of the game.
I’m happy to sell my GoT to you. It’s a beautiful game visually but I felt it was similar to the recent Assassin’s Creed games. Huge open worlds but very little variety in terms of gameplay. The combat was decent in GoT though.

I really enjoyed TLOU when I first played it in 2013. I a recap yesterday of the ending and started Part II. I only got about 45 minutes into it but I’m loving the atmosphere so far. Naughty Dog are the best game developers in the world imo so I’m expecting a great game.

Just started playing Dirt Rally 2.0. It is so, so difficult compared to every other racing game I've ever played but I'm enjoying it!

Part of the lads rig. There is also a F1 style wheel. Including computer a cool £5,000 worth. Proud to say he races on Assetto Corsa Racing at a pro level in a sponsored team. He races single and on a team with a Porsche Super Cup Driver.
Do you provide free driving lessons for those or some people who STILL can’t drive a bloody car or vehicle?

Currently playing Axiom Verge on Hard Mode via my Switch. I completed it years ago on PC but have just bought the sequel which was surprise released the other day, so I fancied a refresher playthrough before I wade into that one.

Now playing Axiom Verge 2! Very different to the first game in a bunch of ways. Some of it I like, some of it less so. A divisive game I think.

do you like racing games? i like racing and fighting games

ive got xbox 360, nintendo wii, ps3, ps4 and PC,
i also got this android box with controllers which you can load ps1, ps2, nintendo cube and all sorts of retro games,
havent used it much but i did load on a few retro games like sonic etc, really nostalgic feeling

had a switch but didnt like it and the games seem to be a bit on the steep side imho,
suppose thats a good thing though for switch owners as it keeps the value high for the second hand switch and games etc

I've been trying to get hold of a Series X for a year, I refuse to support scalping so have had no luck so far. I did buy a Series S a few months back though and actually I've been very pleased with it. I'm now undecided on the X as I'm not that bothered about 4K and I have the 1TB expansion card.

Currently playing Forza Horizon 5, Minecraft with my daughter, Dirt Rally 2.0 and looking forward to Farming Simulator 22 which comes out next Monday. I'm hoping the online racing experience in Horizon 5 is improved from Horizon 4 where approaching a corner when leading the pack usually resulted in being shunted off the track by some **** who'd rather cheat than win cleanly. I'm not that hopeful though.

Nah, not into racing although I did like Burnout Paradise as a time killer. It was a fun game to play while throwing a podcast on. Liked some fighting games when I was a teenager but not now really, assuming we’re talking about Street Fighter etc.

I’m into lots of different types of games. RPGs, dungeon crawlers, action stuff, horror. Zelda, Resident Evil, Skyrim, Gears of War, Bioshock, Uncharted, Doom etc.

My all time favourite is the F. E. A. R. series. Next ia Call of Duty. I have an older configuration, but i've manged to make it to Black ops 2, but not beyond... Loved Oblivion, but never finished it due to a system crash... Simply couldn't get myself to start all over again. And because i was in fear of the same jinx i have with Diablo 2: started it 3 times, every single time had a system crash. Serious Sam is also great, the last one i've finished is the B.F.F.E. I've enjoyed Neverwinter nights 1 and 2 very much as well. No One Lives Forever was also a blast. Basically i don’t play much, am very picky, but when i find something good i tend to do re-runs on high difficulty after some time.
