After looking at various Wiki's and coming up empty, I found this page listing a fair number of H. Diamond razors..

If anyone has more info, please add..

I've got an #8000, #74, and #120...

#74. The scales are not original. This razor came with generic black plastic, which were warped from 50 years in it's coffin.

#120. As produced. Quarter grind.

#8000 ... As produced..

I love the scales on the #74, what material were they made form? Whoever made those scales did a sublime job. If I had to guess, I'd say acrylester, but it's tough to identify by sight alone. I'm still trying to find a few Hayashi razors for decent money. I did get lucky a few months ago and won a nice Kikuboshi R.Saito SK3, but it needs a lot of work.

Hi Gray,

The H Diamond #74 was rescaled by Max Sprecher in Camel pearl Acrylic, with a blood red wedge.

There used to be lots of H. Diamond razors around... I don't see nice ones that often anymore. I did recently see a NOS H. Diamond #1072... for hideous money!

I see some on Buyee every so often, but that's it. I really like the scale shape, very elegant. How much did they go for?
