Time for a change

Dear ATG,
I have been using Personna Red blades for years in my old Vikings Blade razor. Back then shaving was a chore. The discovery of Vintage Gillette Adjustable razors and Stirling Soap Company shave soap changed my life forever. I now look forward to shaving!
Now I am trying different blades and have found blades that I much prefer over the Personna blades. Just this week I tried a green label Astra blades that and I just shaved today with a Bolzano blade. I found both far superior to the Personna blades. I have grown tired of the glue left on the Personna blades.
Any recommendations greatly appreciated!

Green Astra Superior Platinum are loved and derided in equal measure- i happen to love them because they are, to me, a great balance of smoothness and sharpness. Not the sharpest and not the smoothest, but a great blend of both for a terrific everyday shave.

I have just gone back into my stash of them after a few months using Bic Chrome Platinum ( a terrific very sharp + fairly smooth blade )

The joy of this hobby is finding the blade / razor / soap combo that works best with your skin + fur

I just got a sample blade set on eBay and I am experimenting with them now. Two of each of these blades. Any comments about these blades is appreciated. Bolzano first out of this group I have tried.

I actually decided to try an AC razor so I bought a RazoRock V2. I did not care for it so I gave it to a good friend. I have a big enough collection of DE razors to keep me happy for a while even if DE is really not the best platform out there.

My interest was more historical. I love old things and enjoyed using 100 year old equipment where blades were readily accessible.

What got me started was discovering that eBay had Schick Krona razors. I remember using the one owned by my grandfather when I was a teen.
