Dad's car was broken into last night. Had the same situation at my house about 2 years ago. Difference with my parents is their road has private security with a patrol car. Spoke with the security guard who apprehended two people, who he confirmed were the same as those spotted on their ring doorbell. His wording was they appeared drunk so ushered them off the estate. He didn't notice any unique features and was meant to be wearing his body cam but wasn't. Couple of Ray-Bans stolen. Annoying and my skeptical mind is calculating conspiracy theories. Rang the police but without any clear footage showing the offenders face it's not any help. Asking neighbours for their footage and security guard for any more info. Could take this further as the security guard under protocol is meant to always wear a body cam, but its more effort than it's worth.
