I want to enjoy it, but I just don’t. I think it’s because I’m not experienced enough. Plus I get great shaves from my SE razors

I hear you, it can be frustrating not getting the quality of finish you're used to with the safety razors. It does take months of repeated shaves until you do it without thinking and then the enjoyment begins as you feel so much more relaxed during the shave, it can be stressful learning and we want our shaves to be relaxing not stressful lol.
