Spam and dodgy calls since an online order

This is endemic to many countries. No matter how hard you try to avoid these spammer find more innovative ways to drag you in potential damage. Emails are easy to tackle but it is the phone calls and SMS that are more problematic. They send SMS from a domain you can't block. The sender name can be manipulated to look like someone from your address book.
I have resorted to use an alias for any online shopping and easy to disconnect those dodgy calls without getting my BP high; every time I hear 'is this Mr Hulk Hogan speaking?'

If I answer, “IF”, I always avoid saying the word “yes” to any question. I kinda make a game of it and I generally take it slow. I’m in no rush these days. I like to ask questions as well. I ask regular questions about how they are, the weather, what their name is, am I pronouncing it correctly and if anyone believes them or buys anything from them. I once did this to a guy who came to my door. Long story short he quit the job on the spot and I drove him to the airport so he could fly back home that day. He’s still a FB of mine friend from over five years ago. That was an odd day.
