It's only shave one but I'm not exactly feeling the love for the ATT G1 SS Gem. Build is excellent but I think it may be too mild for me. :(

I'll try again but this may be heading over to BST
Hi James
Top mild for me too, only works with a Shim

~SOTD~

Prep ~ Shower, Lavender Glycerin soap
Razor ~ Eskimo Adjustabal set to 3
Blade ~ Gillette Rubie Stainless Steel ( NOS )
Soap ~ Barrister and Mann - Lime, Lavender & Cedarwood
Brush ~ Thater 4125/2 Silvertip
Post ~ Thayers rose Petal
Scent ~ Agua Lavanda - Puig

After posting on a thread about Gillette Rubie blades I received a PM from fellow member @Dobbo25 asking if I would like to try a tuck of NOS Rubies, made in London, having not tried these before I jumped at the chance and accepted his very kind offer. One day later a small package arrived with a pack of five Rubies plus around 10 assorted NOS blades, I was like a dog with two tails!
I get a real kick out of using blades that are no longer in production, it's the knowledge that there are only a finite number of such blades in circulation and I'm shaving with one, im sure im not the only one who feels this way. :)
Anyway, the shave.. The blade is good, sharp and smooth and I would say they have the same feel as the Rubies on sale today but these were made in London and you can't buy them anymore so for that they felt better! The blade worked very well in the Eskimo which in turn worked well with the B&M soap. The brush, I'm still loving this brush, as soft as soft can be, this was an enjoyable shave.
To finnish off such an enjoyable shave I stayed with the lavender theme and splashed a good amount of Puig Agua Lavanda Cologne all over...perfect.
A big thanks going out to @Dobbo25 for his kind gesture, cheers P.

Wishing you all a safe Friday the 13th :). P.
