I would have to disagree regarding your comment the Pur Tech having a makeup brush look and it's nothing like the Plissoft synthetic either.

The Pur Tech is a high end synthetic, It's fibre hairs are thicker than any other synthetic and even when weighted down it maintains it's backbone with minimum splay and unlike cheaper synthetics it doesn't flick lather everywhere.

It's my no1 synthetic. Compared to other synthetics it carries a high price tag but worth the money if looking for a quality synthetic knot.

Decent lather from the WK soap, but it smells of, erm, NOTHING! A kind of thin lather when compared to some of the thick stringy lather some soaps produce, but itw as certainly slick enough. Again though, not good enough to import the stuff at crazy cost from the US.

Great shave today, love using my grandad’s (Razor Emporium restored) razor and the first try of the soap really impressed, aftershave is not my cuppa though

The cream made excellent lather, and the aftershave and balm were very soothing. The fragrance is subtle but complex and intoxicating. Overall I'm quite pleased with the products.

Yes I see what you mean. It does not look like a Plissoft at all. Thank you for setting that straight. I wonder is it similar to the knots used in Zenith synthetics?
